My Offerings

DEI & Clinical Consultation

Cultural Change Consultation

Fatimah offers individual and group consultation that helps you build your capacity to engage cultural differences effectively. As a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory, Fatimah uses this assessment as a framework for understanding the challenges and strengths in your current approach to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice. From there, we will work to guide you in creating transformational change in the environments that matter most to you.

Clinical Consultation

Are you an independently licensed therapist looking for additional support with your caseload? Being in private practice can be tough and it helps to have the space to filter ideas through when you get stuck or need guidance on how to proceed with a given case. If you have ever wondered where to go next when working with clients struggling with substance abuse recovery, domestic violence, or trauma reactions, clinical consultation may be what you need to ensure your confidence in giving the best care that you can. As a Certified IFS Therapist and Approved Supervisor,  Fatimah also offers specific IFS consultation to support therapists practicing to become certified in the IFS model. Fatimah will be taking on new clients for individual or group IFS consultation starting in January 2022.

Group Workshops

Group Workshops & Facilitation

As a facilitator, Fatimah offers a range of workshops that seek to support mental health practitioners in providing culturally competent care, to aid working professionals center diversity, equity and inclusion in their workplaces, and to empower everyday people to prioritize their mental health free from stigma and shame.

  • Courage on the Couch: Trauma Informed Leadership in the Therapeutic Alliance

  • For Colored Folks Considering Therapy When Social Media Ain’ Enuf

Healing begins with a healthy attachment to your inner self. Such an attachment requires focus on the relationship between mind, body and spirit. You are the expert and have important knowledge about what you need to achieve health and well-being. Together, we will explore this knowledge and channel it in service to the goals you want to achieve.

I provide a space that is honest and judgment-free so that you can feel comfortable enough to look at yourself and your experience with hope and compassion. From there, we work together to get you back to wholeness.

I’ve helped people who’ve been betrayed, felt alone, struggled with substance abuse, cycled through poor relationships repeatedly, felt suicidal, moved to a new place and started to feel depressed, cried a lot and didn’t know why, who’ve survived so many traumatic experiences that they felt they couldn’t take anything else. And I can help you, too.

I enjoy helping my clients develop more compassionate, loving and respectful relationships with themselves. If this is something that you'd like to do for yourself, I invite you to connect with me.

I don't think I'd be where I am today if not for your guidance and support - for the first time in a long time, I am confident in my ability to hold myself gently through life's 'triggering bliss'. Thank you for providing such a wonderful safe & healing space. My life is changed because of it.

I wanted to thank you. We had many conversations[...] when I was maybe 19/20 years old. I am now turning 25 in about two months and a lot of my gratitude is geared towards those conversations. It made me think in a way that I never considered previously and I am a better person because of it. I’ve spoken with many other therapist prior to meeting you, but my experience speaking with you truly felt unbiased, and the ways you geared the conversations truly made me think within. I am absolutely grateful.
